Lupas says the Hugo Hoopla is inappropriate and disrespectful to the families of the victims and to all law-abiding citizens, district attorney says.

Lupas called a brief press conference because of the “hoopla” surrounding the auction of Selenski's house. While the sale of Hugo Selenski’s picturesque home in Kingston Township has attracted lots of interest as a spectacle, the county’s top prosecutor wants to remind everyone of the serious crimes that brought about the sale.

Lupas said people should not glamorize Selenski or laugh at the criminal acts connected to the home. Doing that, he said, is hurtful to the victims’ families and all working residents who struggle each day to legally support a family and home.

The next time someone in the community wants to admire Selenski for his acts, they need to make one quick thought, authorties say:
“How would you like it if this was someone in your family?” said
First Assistant District Attorney Jacqueline Musto Carroll.

And our response to that is....
It IS someone in our family and we WILL glorify Hugo because the last time we checked he was cleared of the first two murders and has NOT been convicted of the current two murders! It is VERY hurtful to Hugo's friends and family to hear people condemn him for crimes he has not been convicted of committing. So next time you want to say something bad about Hugo, remember that HUGO has family as well, and we have EVERY right to defend our family! He is a wonderful, loving, and special family member to us just like other people feel about their own family members. We are also at risk of losing a father, a son, a grandson, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend ALL in HUGO! So next time you want to know why we all support him, it's because WE LOVE HIM and he has family and friends that will stick by him NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!
